This page explains what happens to what you enter in the "Get my estimate" tool. Short version: we keep your answers to reply to you about your event, nothing else.
Who handles your data
The publisher of the Amaria Events website (amariaevents.com), wedding and family celebration planning in Marrakech (Morocco). Contact for any data question: WhatsApp +212 639 940 408.
What is recorded
- your answers: type of event, planned date, number of guests, country of residence, needs, budget in mind, currency and estimated range;
- your first name and your WhatsApp number;
- the date of the request and of your consent, the language, a short reference, where you entered the site and, if present in the link, campaign parameters (utm, gclid, fbclid);
- an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (never the address itself), only to limit abuse.
The tool asks for no email, no postal address and no ID.
Why
To reply to you on WhatsApp about your event: refine the estimate, suggest venues and send you a quote. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box in the tool. Without it, nothing is sent.
Where, who sees it and for how long
In a file stored with the website's host, outside the public part of the site, accessible only to the site's publisher. Answers are kept for at most 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted. They are never sold or shared with third parties.
At the end of the tool, WhatsApp opens with a pre-written summary. You send it yourself: the message then goes through WhatsApp (Meta), whose privacy policy applies.
On your device
So that you can resume an interrupted estimate, the tool keeps your answers in progress in your browser's local storage for at most 7 days; they are erased as soon as you send. The site currently uses no advertising cookies and no analytics tool.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its processing or withdraw your consent, with a simple WhatsApp message to +212 639 940 408. Framework: Moroccan law 09-08 (CNDP) and, for people living in the European Union, the GDPR.
